Hiring: Chef / Cook – Café Kitchen Glenroast Café, Jorhat Start Date: April 2026 Location: Jorhat, Assam Employment Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 2 years (café / restaurant kitchen) Salary: Rs 18,000 – Rs 20,000 per month (based on experience) About Glenroast Glenroast is an Irish-style specialty café in the heart of Jorhat, focused on premium coffee, all-day café food and a warm, consistent dining experience. Role & Responsibilities 1. Prepare and execute the Glenroast café menu across breakfast, sandwiches, pizzas, bowls, grills, and signature mains 2. Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards 3. Handle daily prep, mise-en-place, and basic inventory support 4. Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times 5. Coordinate with the café team for smooth service during operations Skills & Requirements 1. Strong working knowledge of continental café cooking 2. Comfortable with sauces, grilling, pasta finishing, and plating 3. Ability to follow recipes and learn new menu items 4. Clean, disciplined, and consistent working style 5. Good communication and teamwork Preferred (Not Mandatory) 1. Experience in busy cafés 2. Ability to independently manage a café kitchen station 3.
